a little about me

Born and raised in Glasgow (GHS Class of 2009), I went to college at the University of Montana. I taught high school Art and Creative Writing at Nashua School before driving around the state as the Teaching Artist for The Art Mobile of Montana.

In those years I had the pleasure of memorizing Montana’s most remote highways and meeting all the amazing people who live in every corner of our state.

After graduate school at the University of Minnesota, I moved back home, got married, and spearheaded the effort to build Siding 45 Skatepark in Glasgow.

These days I'm the designer and tile-layer for the newly renovated Milk River Valley Bank building (new home of Soma-Dis Deli in downtown Glasgow), have been an active member of the Glasgow Downtown Association, and do my part to help my Dad on the farm.

My community reaches into every corner of our amazing state, but my home is here in northeastern Montana. I believe in people over party and will fight for the health and well-being of our community.
