Get Corporate Spending out of Montana Elections

I support I-194, The Montana Plan, a Constitutional Initiative that will end corporate spending in Montana politics.

Citizens United, passed in 2010, allowed large corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money to support their chosen political candidates, provided the corporations were technically independent of the campaigns.

The Montana Plan is a “breakthrough legal strategy” that will help Montanans beat Citizens United and take back our politics.

This constitutional initiative that would add a new section to the Montana Constitution defining powers granted to “artificial persons, including corporations.”

Thank you to everyone who signed! The Montana Plan gathered enough signatures to be placed on the ballot this fall.
